Why do your prices vary from other carpet cleaners and companies ?

Dry Cleaning is the ideal method for Carpet and Rugs because it prolongs the life of the carpet fibers and leaves a refined feel and smell of complete sanitation. Dry cleaning your carpet is as equivalent to taking your clothes to the dry cleaners compared to the more careless alternative.

What are the dangers in having my carpet Shampooed or Steamed cleaned ?

Not only do these systems leave your floors soaked but they create a breathing ground for mold due to the accumulation of dirt and grime mixed with water that becomes lodged in and underneath the foundation of your carpet/floor structure. High pressure steam systems cause buckling in certain areas of the carpet due to the loosening of the carpet backing.

What do you consider to be an area ?

Typically, an area is a room that is up to 144 square feet (12’ x 12’) or approximately the size of one standard bedroom. Any areas over 144 square feet but less than 300 square feet is priced as two areas. Non-standard areas (i.e. baths, halls, landings, walk-in closets etc). are priced separately from the standard areas, usually at a lesser price. Please know that these room sizes may vary by location.

How often should I have my carpet cleaned ?

This is a case by case preference.

For example:

Client A likes to maintain the fresh smell and optimal air quality in their home to combat pathogens tracked in from foot traffic on a daily basis, as they wear shoes in their home. This client typically has a routine cleaning once a month. This proves to be especially sanitary for newborn babies and pups. Client B on the other hand, has a no shoe policy, but appreciates sanitation as well so they have their carpet cleaned once every 4-6 months. Client C has lived in their home for the past two years and has never had a clean, and wears shoes in the home. It is now time to schedule a clean and their carpet soil level is on the extreme and needs a thorough deep cleaning. The price is of Client C’s clean will probably be the equivalent of Client A’s 4 month total for service.

Depending on your sanitation habits at home, we recommend you have your carpet cleaned at least 2-3 times annually, otherwise as often as you see fit. We strive to prevent the spread of hazardous pathogens that are tracked into homes everyday which can cause serious long terms side effects to your health and that of small children and pets.

My carpet has bubbles or ripples in it. Do you know what caused this ? What does it mean ? and can you help fix the problem ?

Typically this means that your carpet needed to be re-stretched before you had it cleaned by a company that used a water based system such as steam, hot water or shampoo and has now created such an effect. High pressure water systems use such force that it is not uncommon for them to cause the latex backing of your carpet to deteriorate. Ultimately causing the fibers to ripple away from the backing which makes your carpet appear wavy. We recommend having the carpet stretched as soon as possible. This is not required before our cleaning service is performed.

Does your Dry Cleaning process leave residue behind ?

No. Unlike most water based systems, notably shampoo processes leave behind an excess of soap and water that eventually dries and creates a sticky residue feeling. The DRY Carpet Cleaner uses safe, green sealed products not harmful to children, pets or the environment to extract all dirt, dust and debris in addition to the removal of soap residue left behind by water based cleaning companies.

Please note: depending on the amount of soap left in the fibers of your carpet, this may require multiple cleans to take place in order to completely remove the soap.

Yes. Our clients are invited to pop in & out of the room or area we may be cleaning any time they feel the urge to catch a live demonstration of an incredibly manufactured, “before & after-moment.”
